Her debut album “Shores ofAvalon” recently released on Higher Octave, Tina Malia sings of love and inspiration, her crystal voice combining with exotic musical influences from all over the world. Drawing inspiration from her roots in American Folk music, ancient Celtic modalities, Middle Eastern percussion and mystical sounds of India, Malia magically weaves sounds from around the world into a beautiful palette for her voice. The 24 year old singer/songwriter also proves herself a dynamic multi-instrumentalist, surrounding her guitar, dulcimer, piano and keyboard playing with a wide variety of world instruments including the djembe, dumbek and tabla.
